Christa Barber

Christa is a mom and attorney who works as Law Clerk for a Federal Magistrate Judge in the United States District Court for the Western District of Missouri. She researches constitutional and federal issues and writes legal opinions and orders in criminal and civil cases, which means she spends much of the day reading case law, rules, and Supreme Court decisions, and advising her Judge how he should rule and how the decisions of the courts effect the rights of defendants, parties and the public. She loves writing, spending time with friends and family, coaching volleyball or playing sports, and mentoring young girls. She and her husband Maurice are foodies and travel frequently looking for adventure and good food wherever they go.
